The tuition fee is €13,000 per year (payment can’t be split into two instalments).

The Dentistry program at Comenius University in Bratislava lasts 5 years and is conducted entirely in English. It focuses on practical training from the early years, preparing students for clinical work in international environments.

To apply for the Medicine or Dentistry program at Comenius University in Bratislava, candidates must have completed secondary school.
The entrance exam consists of 200 questions:
100 questions in Biology
100 questions in Chemistry
The questions are at secondary school level, which allows for calm and thorough preparation.
Exam duration: 3 hours.
All questions come exclusively from a closed pool of 1,000 questions:

500 Chemistry questions

In 2026, the entrance exams for Medicine and Dentistry at Comenius University in Bratislava will take place on:
General medicine;
1. 19th March 2026 online (The registration is open from January 1st until February 26th, 2026)
2. 2nd June 2026 online (The registration is open from March 21st until May 12th, 2026)
2. 6th August 2026 online (The registration is open from June 4th until July 23rd, 2026).
Dental medicine;
1. 20th March 2026 online (The registration is open from January 1st until February 26th, 2026)
2. 3rd June 2026 online (The registration is open from March 21st until May 12th, 2026)
3. 7th August 2026 online (The registration is open from June 4th until July 23rd, 2026).
Students who wish to transfer from another university should plan to take the exam as early as possible, as additional time is needed to submit applications for subject recognition and credit transfers. Each candidate can take the entrance exam for their chosen program (Medicine or Dentistry) only once per year. However, some candidates choose to take the exam for both Medicine and Dentistry to secure an additional study opportunity or to check their level of knowledge before the main exam.
The fee for taking the medical entrance exam is €95. The university will send the student an email inviting them to the entrance exam approximately two weeks before the selected exam date.

Documents before entrance exam:
1. Signed application form – completing it correctly on your own can be difficult. Please contact us and we will help you fill in the application properly. On page 9 of the application, a scan of your ID document must be attached.
2. Photocopy of passport or ID card.

4. Three passport-size photographs.
5. A sheet with your full name, email address, exam date, and phone number.

Documents after passed exam
Upon successful completion of the examination:
1. Birth certificate – original or a notarized copy issued in Slovakia, along with a sworn translation into Slovak performed in Slovakia.
2. Secondary school leaving certificate and high school diploma – originals or notarized copies issued in Slovakia, along with sworn translations into Slovak performed in Slovakia.
3. Certificate of vaccination against Hepatitis B (HBV) – in accordance with university requirements, the student must be vaccinated – original document along with a sworn translation into Slovak performed in Slovakia.
